Oyeniran Agnes

Mrs Agnes Oyeniran is a Public Health professional with more than 6 years’ experience in program planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.

She has worked with both international & local development and research organisations including the WHO, JHPIEGO, Catholic Relief Services and Breakthrough Action Nigeria and among diverse population especially women and girls in diverse settings.

While working with the WHO, she was responsible for the implementation of a multi-country study on mistreatment of women during childbirth. In recognition of her work, she was sponsored by the WHO to Ghana to present her work to a team of researchers and WHO staff and to also participate in the WHO analysis workshop with the other country teams, where the data from Nigeria was used to build the capacity of the Ghana and Guinea teams.

She received her undergraduate and Master of Public Health degrees respectively from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology and University of Ibadan.

She also completed certificates courses in Global Health and Implementation Research from Karolinska Institute and the WHO respectively. She is passionate about research and believes that research is the bedrock of any healthcare development.
