CCPRH Attends The National Safe Motherhood Week 2024
The Center for Comprehensive Population and Reproductive Health (CCPRH) Technical Team attended the National Safe Motherhood Week 2024 held in Abuja from April 22nd to 26th, 2024. The theme for this year’s week is “Investing in Maternal Health for a Sustainable Future towards Reducing Maternal Morbidity & Mortality in Nigeria.”
The annual event is aimed at raising awareness and fostering public dialogue on strategies and interventions to enhance maternal and newborn health and survival within a comprehensive continuum of care. Prof Ojengbede was also presented with a prestigious award in recognition of his exemplary leadership, transformative impact, innovative approach, and remarkable contribution towards the advancement of maternal health.
